In all production activities carried out in our factory, our environmental processes are handled with a life cycle approach, and our main goal is to prevent pollution and protect the environment and natural resources for sustainable development.
In all processes we carry out, local legislation, international standards and the special standards of our customers are taken into consideration, and we fulfill the requirements of all environmental conditions determined by these standards and support continuous development and the use of the best available technologies (BAT) to ensure their continuity.
It has Environmental Permit documents received from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change within the scope of evaluating the environmental impacts of its past and future investments. The monitoring and implementation of legal processes, as well as our declaration and reporting obligations in environmental processes, are managed by Environmental Engineers working in the Environmental Management Unit. Our facility has also completed ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and has entered the certification process.
Within the scope of improving and measuring our environmental performances;
- Emission confirmation measurements of ventilation chimneys will be carried out in 2024 within the scope of environmental permit confirmation measurement.
- 2023 hazardous and non-hazardous waste declarations should be made through the MOTAT system by March 2024
- Declarations of packaging released and supplied to the market for 2023 must be made by March 2024
- Continuing to provide environmental awareness training in 2024
- Making GEKAP declarations
- Waste bins within the factory area, improving waste management
- Ensuring that our 181 TEP value is improved.
