It is a system that ensures life safety of the workers during the works to be performed at Medium Voltage Busbars (up to 36 kV) by grounding and
short circuiting them. In other words, it is the hardware that
temporarily short circuits to line between phase-phase and phase-ground during the works to be performed at busbars. Elopar
Busbar Grounding Clips are designed in a manner that can grasp busbars between
2x1 6 mm and 2x80x10 mm.
Parts on the hot stick end and all other metal parts are made of stainless material. Furthermore,
hot stocks are manufactured as waterproof.
Features are;
a.Clips are capable of attaching to busbars with the wall thickness of 40 mm (2x80x10 mm) as well as
busbars with less wall thickness.
b.Length of the phase cables is 2 meters minimum and the length of the grounding descending cable is 2 meters minimum, too.
c.Clips are designed in a way that they can be inserted to the busbars with screws. Furthermore, clips are furnished with a hexagon shaft for smooth inserting and removal
of the clips on the hot stick.
d. There is a stopper on the hot stick, which prevents movement of the hand forward.
e. Clips, connection branches, grounding and short circuit cables and entire hardware is resistant to short circuit current of 4000A for 1 second.
f. When the hot stick is longer than 2 meters, it is more than one piece.
g. Protective outer shield of the grounding and short circuit cable is transparent. It is resistant to oil, weather conditions
and wear. Cables have high bending properties.
h. Spring washer must be used again sliding and rotating in bolts and nuts.
i. Grounding clamp has a thumb nut for assembling and disassembling manually on and from the
system grounding.
j. The crate housing the grounding equipment is galvanized and locked. The jacket in
which the grounding pile and hot stick will be placed is made of waterproof canvas
